    Décès:
HERMARY, Emile 1923 – 2011 We are very sad to announce the passing of Emile Hermary (Emile of Many Guns) on May 26, 2011, at the age of 87 years. Emile will be lovingly remembered by his partner, Barb Burgess, son Cyril (Rose), son Wayne, daughter Patricia (Paul) and son Darcy (Lisa), Barb’s daughter Libby (Al), daughter Margaret (Mike), and son Art (Martine) and all the grandchildren and Emile’s sisters and brothers. Emile was predeceased by his parents Gabriel and Marie Hermary. Emile was born and raised in Red Deer on December 26, 1923. Emile spent many years with Red Deer Lock and Key working with Cec Head. Later, he opened his own business “Emile of Many Guns” on his acreage north of Red Deer on the C&E trail. He enjoyed antique cars and he worked with Charlie Parker and Lou Weidner to start the Central Alberta Vintage Auto Club. Emile and Barb spent many hours working on and traveling in his antique vehicles, which included two cross Canada tours. He rebuilt old tractors and pump engines and many other antique items to preserve them for others to see and enjoy. A Celebration of Emile’s Life will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (5508 48A Avenue, Red Deer) Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Emile has requested that any donations should be forwarded to the children’s charity of your choice. A very special thank you to the nurses at Lacombe Hospital, who were very compassionate and kind.
